He wasn't telling he was being very polite about it.He simply wanted to be sure the game didn't go too long, with Draft and Sealed you can never be too sure about time.

He was very polite about it, and Kerry was mulling for quite a long time.

He said "Let's ask the judges," which is the correct way of handling such situations.

Except that there was clearly no question about it. Bob is a competent Magic player, obviously. He understands how missed triggers work, and he knew how they would rule.
@Zeldarulah11 жыл бұрын
Oh, he definitely is. He's mad that he was able to attack with the keyrune, but he should be able to attack with the keyrune because him not attacking was the result of a gameplay error not a missed trigger.

After the detain goes away, couldn't the Keyrune have blocked the Primordial? Kerry had mana to animate it. Am i not seeing something?

Wasn't Kerry Edwards a presidential campaign logo back in 2004 election?

He doesn't mean to be. I've met him once and I've watched him play. He is a computer with cards. He isn't trying to be rude he's just being procedural and rigid, how he always is.

blood cost GR there is no black required. your thinking of the other effect on the card flesh which cost GB3 .

That still doesn't change the fact that you'd get penalized for slow play. Too many violations and that's a match loss. If you're consistently playing too slow you'd get DQ'd, and probably banned from sanctioned play as well if you cop an attitude about it. Like I said, this isn't FNM, and you have to follow by their rules if you want to be a part of the big leagues.

its not rude to ask politely to play faster. the times here CAN be a problem so its not really rude to ask.

exsactly. playing for allot of money so i would take my time to make sure i play correctly and wouldn't let anyone tell me how fast i should play. as making enemies, oh well. wouldn't be the first time.

During that third game, Edwards didn't have any black mana, he couldn't cast that blood, he shouldn't have won that match

That play mistake with flesh/blood was pretty embarrassing :P I was lucky to get away with that win, 1-2'd the pod then 2-3'd constructed for 88th. I hope to be able to go back again and do better, although beating a HoF'er on camera is something nice to look back on
@xSxExSx111 жыл бұрын
Sure, you can play however you want...at fnm. This is the big leagues and they want the play to be fast and tight. These are pros and should be treated like it. You come in with the "I'll play however I want" attitude and the first thing that would happen would be you'd make enemies out of most of your opponents. Second thing that would happen: you'd get penalized for slow play. These guys are playing for thousands of dollars, and a time limit draw keeping you out of top 8 would be devastating.
