Wanted so badly to put my name on Viserai’s roll call. Turns out game is hard especially with an F tier hero😅. I love playing as Kano, hate playing against him. Last game against Kano: Lethal on stack, yellow and red in hand, end up taking 38 damage to lose.

I would like you to talk about the fact that we are starting Fab 2.0 but new heroes are on a much more optimistic path towards becoming LL than other heroes that have been around for more years

I was so sad Betsy’s LL point winning deck was so fatigue focused. At that point you’re just playing her for the 2 block hat instead of the wagering

As an aspiring betsy main, i agree. You might as well leave her hero text blank. But building fatigue is to be expected cause of warriors and their fridges, guardians and their dreacts, and others. Its probably the only way to win in this fridge-heavy meta. You're only hope in wagering is against ninjas.

The Betsy deck list uses overpower and dominate to close out those games though! Similar to bravo.

My local Kano prize split finals and beat the recorded winner (an Uzuri) for an on-stream game. Its all about the long con for them lol.

Ooooh fancy bar graph 📊😊 I really like the current meta, I have been looking into very different builds for Kano and I think Blessings is actually great. So I built a Kano deck built around “On my turn” and it’s been surprisingly successful 😊

I understand that maybe some decks can tech for the Kano matchup, but as an assassin specialist it really comes off as completely dismissive of the problems with Kano to just say “it’s your fault you didn’t tech for it”. Uzuri with AB 3 Spellvoid 2 and oasis built aggressively *still* can’t beat Kano reliably, trust me, I’ve tried. 😭 I understand that I should just take my bad matchups and deal with it but this whole discourse of “Kano isn’t problematic, just respect him and it’s free” when I’m playing a hero that literally can’t tech for the hero comes off super mean. And yeah, I could just play a different hero from a competitive standpoint, but I love uzuri the same way you love Kano. Just wish it was an actual matchup where my skill mattered like Dromai or Prism instead of just “oh you’re this hero? You can’t beat Kano, sorry.”

Don't assume my commentary on people not respecting Kano is indicative of everyone in the meta. If you're actually teching for him, then you're making the other choice relative to the first group I mentioned.

@@DMArmada yeah, I do think that those who have the capability to beat Kano and choose not to complaining about the matchup is super toxic, and I hate seeing how it effects my local kanos. It’s just hard when kanos blame me for losing the matchup for “not teching” when even after teching I can’t win the matchup, so I stopped teching. :/

I'll be glad to see dromai go. I think that having an entire deck be a gatekeeper that prevents a wide a varied meta due to their popularity and strength feels like a disservice to those heroes receiving expansion slots whose only hope is to dodge that match up.

@@GamersGambitLLC I feel like gatekeeping even one class is too much. When you get more heroes in that class they still can't really stake their claim in the meta. It's also other heroes that she keeps down as well, despite the results of their class. It's limiting to the meta when you could have a lot more heroes showing how truly effective they can be, as well as having more player expression,when one hero holds a lot of them back

@@SandQrow That is fair. This is probably the most open a meta can be though. All games fall victim to 1-4 best choices in decks/load-outs, so I’d argue that only 1 to 2 being unplayable out of 15 is amazing. She will LL soon and assassins will bring about an age of fatigue potentially.

I did my part, reached the final of my RTN with dromai, split the gold and conceede the game to save those exactly 4 points, need dromai for my last dance in the pro Quest LOL
