Its a great piece of gear. There are some newer ones that link up to your cell phone via Bluetooth which I think are pretty cool!

Thank-you for your video; I am looking to buy this for slow speed alarms; to help me in better landing, can you set up alarm at 25ft on this device?

You can set up altitude alarms at 10 foot intervals. I have mine set up for 900, 600, and 300 feet.

I've been out of the sport for 13 years. Just renewed my USPA membership. Getting back into it. I have to ask, why an alarm at 9k?

Altitude awareness. It’s got 4 high speed alarms so why not use it?

Whats the reasoning behind the first alarm @ 9k?

It’s just for altitude awareness. Maybe for a tracking/angle fly jump I would use it to signal a turn back upwind, but for right now just a nice beep to remind me breakoff is coming relatively soon.
