Hey Perndog, I was the AFF Level 8 student that jumped right after you on a HopNPop a few days ago. Didn't really say anything since I was super focused on pulling in 5 seconds. Mission accomplished!

In the fro helmet? Awesome dude. Hop n pops are fun I took like a 15 sec delay. Still playing with the new canopy. Let’s get a jump in when you get that A License

PernDog Yes, absolutely, can't wait to get the A license!

Had my first cutaway over the weekend. Gotta say, the low altitude alarm hits differently when its an actual emergency.

PernDog oh man, you replied :D didn't mean to sound like I was taking anything away. With your production quality and content this is only the beginning. Also by far the most difficult part ;) keep at it please? I'm an aspiring aff student and will come jump with you ASAP

Yeah I'm more active here than on Facebook. Thanks a lot! It means a ton that you enjoy the channel. Where are you doing AFF? Going through that was probably some of the most fun I've ever had in my life.

Its a great piece of gear. There are some newer ones that link up to your cell phone via Bluetooth which I think are pretty cool!

Thank-you for your video; I am looking to buy this for slow speed alarms; to help me in better landing, can you set up alarm at 25ft on this device?
@PernDog5 жыл бұрын
You can set up altitude alarms at 10 foot intervals. I have mine set up for 900, 600, and 300 feet.

I've been out of the sport for 13 years. Just renewed my USPA membership. Getting back into it. I have to ask, why an alarm at 9k?
@PernDog5 жыл бұрын
Altitude awareness. It’s got 4 high speed alarms so why not use it?
@artist4truth5 жыл бұрын
It would give me that, "Oh shit what's that" moment while turning point #5. Lol
@PernDog5 жыл бұрын
@@artist4truth Yeah but I know I set it so it's all good. Just another reminder of where I'm at.

Whats the reasoning behind the first alarm @ 9k?
@PernDog6 жыл бұрын
It’s just for altitude awareness. Maybe for a tracking/angle fly jump I would use it to signal a turn back upwind, but for right now just a nice beep to remind me breakoff is coming relatively soon.
