Harry, when selecting multiple parts with Ctrl + D, you can skip unwanted ones with Ctrl + K.

Quick mnemonic device: cmd+b opens the "bide" and cmd+j opens the jottom, or jerminal, if that's easier for you to remember! Leave it to Microsoft for that intuitive UX.

One nice thing I've enjoyed is being able to Ctrl-Click a file name in a Python exception message and it jumps not just to that file, but to the line from the error message as well. So clever!
@LearnWebCode4 жыл бұрын
Awesome video. cmd+j is so much easier to press compared to control + tilde; love it! I also had no clue about the cmd + p to quickly search for a file.

I use vim in sublime, most of the features you mentioned here are in build in VIM. VS code also has a VIM plugin just give it a try, and you'll just love it. But there is a steep learning cure to it, but it's worth it.

Only tip is don't embedd your face into the tutorials, it's too gorgeous and I have difficulty focusing on the code. 😂 Jokes apart, you deserve the subscription. Thanks.

It works on my windows pc, but testing on linux laptop didn't seem to work. I would guess it has to do something with the physical keyboard fn keys (its defaulting to 'home' or 'end' on mine)

You're using Yarn? Do you see significant advantages of that over npm? Or, is it just what you got used to?

Over time I've found Yarn to just be more reliable and faster than npm. I have higher confidence in yarn than npm nowadays.

You can place your cursor in multiple places by Alt clicking. Do you know if there's a keyboard equivalent?

You can add cursor on multiple lines by holding down option shift and dragging down, you can use the same to add cursor to end of lines by dragging till the line end.
