Matt reacted like literally any man would, he even was a lot calmer than some men out there. Edge and Lita was lucky Matt wasn’t the kind of guy that was crazy enough to kill both of them. He was heartbroken, betrayed and violated by both of them. Edge was a pathetic piece of shit for cheating on his wife and sleeping with his (supposed) best friends longtime girlfriend, and lying about it every step of the way and showing no remorse, guilt or shame. Lita was just as bad, and just as much of a piece of shit, mainly because she showed no remorse and hurt Matt without at least breaking up with him first. I’m glad Matt moved on and is doing better now.

The slap he gave Jericho in his promo about ruthless aggression. It was like his first gimmick before the thuganomics crap, it was like 2001 or 2002. He was given that push over guys like Chris Jericho who had been in the business for years. The super cena days just further added to how shit the entire product had become. All month cena would get attacked and then at the PPV he'd miraculously win, every single time. It was so predictable, tired and boring. The same bullshit repackaged but portrayed worse and with less than half the talent of the actual legends we have seen do it before. I feel like yes while wrestling has run it's course and this would have happened eventually anyway, the fact they gave it to john cena like they did and he is more well known that guys like jericho or booker t really just shows their mentality of "fuck the talent! Just do what sells. Market cena". I mean he made more money of merch sales than he did off wrestling matches. It's just another thing they did on the downhill to the end of the line, but they could have done it better.

It's not like his life was under any threat so what right does he have to lay a finger on either of them regardless of how hurt he may feel? It's life, these things happen, it's not like he's had money or possessions stolen from him or like he's been assaulted himself where he is forced to defend himself, it's just catching your partner cheating, there is no reason to risk your life in jail and hurt people over a failed relationship. It's better to deal with the pain, heal and move on. If this is expected of guys then clearly more violent guys need to be locked up for other people's safety just because they can't handle being cheated on. That is also a red flag for them to be in a relationship with any girl if they have done that before, an argument could easily lead to that guy physically abusing their partner and domestic violence tendencies.

I think there was a part where Matt hardy attacked edge backstage and it was real. It's hard to tell for sure from just watching it. I think the WWE is super wack for taking people's actual lives and making it into a segment on their show. The whole live sex show thing with edge and lita was just insane ridiculous disrespectful to his real life situation. They basically blow up his drama then fire him over it unofficially.
