nobody talks about the guitarist, he's 50% of the performance... awesomeee

Leo Deluglio I agree. Instrumentalists always get second hand shine even when they carry the show

He's solid as hell!! Great performance for both of these guys! Wooo Stevie would approve I'm sure!
@mackhomie66 жыл бұрын
He was just strumming some background chords. He did it well, but it's not really a performance in itself
@jumpmanJB236 жыл бұрын
but just as important. imagine singing without the music
@nezkeys796 жыл бұрын
I agree in general but in this case its a stretch to say the guitarist carried the performance

"All I Do" is one of my favorite Stevie Wonder songs, and this cover actually resonates with me even more than the original. The original sounds too smooth to me all of a sudden for the feeling it describes. whereas the on-fire urgency here blows me away every time I watch the clip, and makes me relive that feeling-- which hurts, no question, but it hurts so good. Brilliant.

its the modern stripped back feeling that makes this cover shine. brilliant

Kriss ....hi Kriss. actually to "cover" means to play and/or sing a song that someone else has written. so no, if for example he sings and is accompanied buy say that guitar player he wouldn't be "covering" anything - he would be playing an original song. see the difference?
@crickella7 жыл бұрын
Yes, I know what to cover means, my context was, he can sing it or play it how ever he wants to. Artistic expression :) Of course it has to be recognizable, s but doesn't have to be exactly as original.
@MarcCota7 жыл бұрын
you need a "read Less" option instead of "Read more" on your comment. it only makes less sense. I can tell you like the guy. leave it at that.
@zwergje10967 жыл бұрын
Science in not shy about reaching new horizons inspired by the work of the great minds that preceded us. "If I have seen further, it is by standing on the shoulders of giants" said Isaac Newton in 1676, and many famous scientists after him. Recognizing the genius of great minds and honoring them by assessing their work is an excellent way to nurture talent. I would not see how this does not apply for art.

@seamusin16977 жыл бұрын
Bluey Robinson you have considerable talent and potential. I would, however, express the same concerns that some of the other viewers have noted which is to perhaps work on singing in a way which puts a little less strain on your voice. This is meant positively and constructively as I feel you have a gift that could bring you critical acclaim and great success in the future. Not to take anything away from an otherwise inspired performance, but try to work on your pitch, tone, and overall control of your voice. There have been many famous singers who have damaged their voices due to using them improperly and causing harm and physical injury to their vocal chords. I lost normal use of my voice and could not sing for two years because of this. Otherwise, I think you have the ability to go far and look forward to more of your clips.
@Luci4387 жыл бұрын
Bluey Robinson..It is not cover, it is imitation. It sounds good, but I think you have the chops to create your own sound. I am not hating on you. You have a good voice. But you need to sound like you, not someone else. Put your own flavor on the song. I look forward to seeing your talent develop further.
@anthonycoleman95937 жыл бұрын
Luci438 , He had more than enough of his own flavor. Sounded nothing like Stevie. Keep the back handed compliments to someone who deserves it.......not this guy.
