i feel like chayula monk may get better when daggers get introduced. also doesnt help that poison now doesnt scale with inc chaos dmg stuff i havent rly envisioned a way to make him great yet

@@Luggaster I'm hoping so as well. I'm stoked for daggers and spears. Darkness seems like an unfinished concept as well and half the Chayula's passive is Darkness. Can't wait for changes!

@@IndieFalco64 same same! ive always been a huge chaos skill enjoyer in poe1, it feels liek a lot of the mechanics surrounding it are still a bit lacking in 2 but thats fair of course for early access content, they should only release what they consider ready. I am also assuming the third witch ascendancy will be chaos-focussed a bit like the occultist in 1 which is another indicator that chaos mechanics may just be on the more unfinished side of the game.

I bought the HOWA gloves very early and got (1-12) and (4%) on them with a single Vaal Orb. That was the moment I decided to stat stack with my Chayula Monk. It's a very underrated stat-stacker and it's so easy to max chaos res. But I spent all my luck with that corruption for quite some time. By the way you can pick "Walking Dream" and slot all the Support Spirit skills FOR FREE. (probably a bug, but it works)

what kinda dps is that? my monk is doing 500k base dps and 1m+ when in combat

Enough to shred anything perfectly fine. If you're looking for the most broken of broken dps be an Invoker or Gemling, Attribute stack on every piece of gear via uniques and breach rings, focus on electric damage, and do tempest flurry like everyone else. gg ez no brainer. This build comes with the forward thinking that Hand of Wisom will get a lightning damage/scaling nerf and Chayula will hopefully get more fleshed out as it's clearly an unfinished subclass.

Smll update, though there isn't a super reliable way to guess it; However i'm fighting T15 pinnacle/bosses and beating them in roughly 1.5 seconds with over 2mil health. So yes, dps very good and beyond plentiful.
