Sir, what u said was absolutely right but for unit displacement always use the value 2EI/L irrespective of the support

His process is absolutely right. But He shouldn’t have assigned different points on supports. Like 1, 2, 3, 4. He should have derived the coefficients such as K11, K12, K21, K22. That is to say K11 first coordinate effects on first coordinate. K12 1st coordinate on 2n ordinates....etc...

Well, unit displacement for any support either be fixed or hinged should be 2EI/L. You said its zero for fixed support. The finding of the stiffness method could have been directly solved by only considering the 2 co-ordinates. Like for co-ordinate 1 as K11=4EI/4+4EI/4(force developed at co-ordinate one due to unit displacement at co-ordinate 1) and K21=2EI/L(force developed at co-ordinate 2 due to unit displacement at co-ordinate 1). K12=2EI/L(Force developed at co-ordinate1 due to unit displacement at co-ordinate 2) and K22=4EI/L+4EI/L. Ur method of analyzing is not very accurate even though you might have got the answers.

5:30 sir, there's something wrong what you taught..if far end fixed, moment will carry by half and if hinged it is zero..you said in reverse manner ..

sir while drawing net BMD there is negetive value for MDC (-0.14) but you drew it above the neutral axis , isnt it that this value need to be drawn below neutral axis at point D ? .. plz give the answer sir ..

in stiffness matrix you tell that k11 is 0 means according to you sir the effect of coordinate 1 at the first point where there is fixed support value will be zero but in the book which i use that is ss bhavikatti it does not take the value 0

I request u to follow any one method from Start to end ... If u r using my method. Apply it from start to end.. and then check ans of Book that will Definitely Match Different Book's Use different method to Solve Follow any 1 from start to end [ But Final Ans will be Same ]

Go in Format of A B C D ... 1 2 3 4 respectively .... If it is 0 than Write 0 there at the End Finally it will cancel out ... But at least There will be no Confusion Why A point is not taken
