In an engine working on Diesel cycle the ratios of weights of air and fuel supplied is 50:1. The temperature of air at the beginning of the compression is 50°C and the compression ratio used is 14:1. What is the ideal efficiency of the engine. Calorific value of fuel used is 42000 kJ/kg
Cp= 1.004 kJ/kgK
Cv= 0.717 kJ/kgK

In an Otto-cycle air is at 17 0c and 1 bar is compressed isentropically until the pressure is 15 bar. Heat is added at constant volume until the pressure rise to 40 bar. Calculate (1) Compression ratio(2) Thermal efficiency(3) Net-work output Assume R=8.314 KJ/Kg , Y =1.4 Ma'am please solve it 😢😢
