The first thing I do when I get a new blower or trimmer is remove that screen and toss it. It is more of a California thing and the equipment runs better without it.

The spark arrestor screen is a really good idea to have. You can just use a lighter or torch to burn the carbon off of it and reinstall it. With all of the long grass you guys cut, I wouldn’t want to see you start a fire.

Start noticing which parts you have trouble with. Then buy 2 of each part. That way you got everything on hand if some equipment starts messing up. My grandpa always bought 2 of everything. Just a suggestion.

Nice video but I miss your long ones. Same problem with petrol lawn mower yesterday - block fuel intake and think the carburettor needs cleaning, that's beyond me). The strimmer problem today - naughty but I took off guard and it worked, 2 screws had sheared off.

Looked like the spark arrestor screen. Get some Berrymans B12 carburetor & injector cleaner. Clean it right up.

Now at 1100 i see striped weed eater wiped off valves then put back together but since started on side road with weed eater already apart what did not see was adding half a tank of fuel that now the shadow moves when machine is tilted! Also WHO goes out to work and has AS USUAL only one mower and a drink thermos and a food thermos! BUT ONLY ONE WEED EATER and NO CAN OF GASOLINE and NO OIL / GAS FUEL MIX and no RAKE and no SHOVEL and NO VACUUM? WHATS going on??

That looked like the spark arrested screen from the muffler. You can use a lighter to burn off the built up carbon.

That screen is carbon build up take some pliers and a propane torch and burn the carbon off the screen take a wire brush and finish cleaning it out and put it back in it should work find
