problem with Speedometer And Fuel Guage Failure and keeps going on and off ?

The speedo an fuel gauge has suddenly stopped working on my 2007 yaris leaving me in a state where I have nothing to tell me how much fuel I have left, how fast I'm going and how many revs I'm doing!.
but when i unlpung and plug it agian it working , and after iam turn off the einging and left the cars for 10m it turn of again.

It fixed it yesterday in my 2002 Platz. The connectors at the backside of the unit were rusted. I rubbed white vinegar + salt on it with an old toothbrush to clean them and boom... it worked...

Check the acc 15AM fuse in the engine compartment

Unfortunately no, the entire instrument cluster needs to be replaced in mines.

had the same issue. sent the entire unit to an electronics lab and they fixed what ever was wrong. lasted 3 years then happen again. i read somewhere that its a problem with the flat wire harness. dont know for myself though
