The point you trying to drive at with this...I see no reason why?? Fine,he speaks yoruba fluently,same way an African man who spent most of his life in italy would be able to speak Italian or spanish.

No point, when you leave in a country you must speak their language and English if important because Nigeria don't speak same language. If you have sense you must know that without arguing far.

That's the point...you're getting it all wrong.. Like you said, he is speaking Yoruba fluently...almost as perfect as the real owners of the language.. English and Yoruba are both different languages. And whichever language u chose to speak, it you don't get it right then u simply aren't getting it right. So trying to speak English with the correct accent or intonation of the actual owners of the language is the right thing to do..it doesn't stop one from still speaking Nigerian languages fluently.

@aurepaschale76922 жыл бұрын
That is not a restaurant o! That is a buka. When you write on platforms with a global audience, please try and be more specific and correct in your use of English. That is NOT what is called a restaurant in Nigeria. That is a buka. And not even a good, even medium-grade one at that. It's on the lowest/low level of bukas; the top level of which are those described as 'executive bukas'. People, most especially, non-black Africans, who have never been to the country, especially those who've barely travelled out of their own country or region, and whose idea of 'Africa' is the images of slums and kwashiorkor-stick-bodied-with protruding bellies children with flies all over their faces from the war and famine zones of a certain country or couple of countries decades ago that the western media likes to play, may read your comments and think that's what restaurants are in Nigeria.

@@azeezadekunle1182 I would not have bothered to post a reply, as my silence would have been all the answer a wise proverb recommends, for the category of person your unnecessary reply clearly falls into. You, however, chose to end with a curse. Therefore, I must refute you and I automatically reverse your every curse BACK TO SENDER IN JESUS' NAME: AMEN! For it written of me: "No weapon formed against you shall prosper, And every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, And their righteousness/vindication is from Me,” I, the LORD have spoken!" Isaiah 54: 17 "Whoever curses you I will curse." Genesis 12: 3 "How shall I curse, whom GOD hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom GOD hath not defied? HE hath blessed; and I cannot reverse/alter it. Surely no curse/enchantment can touch Jacob, and no divination/magic has any power against Israel: now at this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What wonders/great things GOD has done!" Numbers 23: 8, 20, 23 "An undeserved curse shall not land on its intended victim." Proverbs 26: 2 Therefore: BACK TO SENDER IN JESUS' NAME: AMEN! You have exposed so much about yourself with your reply. And all of it is negative. No one attacked or insulted you. But you are incapable of expressing your opinion with descending into the gutter. Nigeria, the country you, unfortunately, apparently have nationality of, is the main subject and focus of my earlier comment. Unfortunate; you who curses those who build it up and help it. Nigeria, and the protection and positive, right representation of its image and actuality, is the message. NOT you. If you had been wise enough to read my earlier comment in its totality, you would have seen that. My earlier comment was a general advisory; which it why it is not posted as a reply. To you or to anyone else. Your reply was completely unnecessary. Illiteracy, to any degree, and in either of its forms i.e. forced or self-chosen, and, laziness in the exercise of one's brain, are not that of which a wise person boasts. There is no further need for me to respond to you. For now, for always and forevermore: BACK TO SENDER IN JESUS' NAME: AMEN!
