I turned the temp simulation of the Tyrecore off after season 3. It makes the experience in the full upgraded car much more enjoyabel. You could call it "cheating" but you have to consider that the AI dont face the problem of the overheating tyres.

he wont, because he would need to edit the model itself which is not possible the problem is that all drivers heads consist of a head mesh, a balaclava mesh and a cap mesh, all of which the game hides or unhides when needed, but all the other heads only have a head mesh and sometimes a headphones mesh thats why there are only eyeballs and a cap is missing

BEN! Decreasing tire pressure increases temps. Try it in a practice, raise your pressures and watch the temps. It'll work. I run circle track and have to increase pressure when tires get too warm. But then you have to adjust suspension as well.

@@rain.6141 higher tyre pressures mean that the contact patch with the ground is less, so less rubber is working when the car turns, so the entire tyre is a bit cooler. at least, that's how it works in real life, no clue if the f1 games has that sort of realism. i know that assetto corsa does simulate that realistically, however.

Well lower pressures = more tire deg cause more tire surface touches the ground and slower top speeds on the straights. But, and I'm no expert, I do think Ben should go even lower on the pressures I can't imagine that tire deg will be a problem and the top speed loss should be rather minor so I agree with you

To be honest, I've noticed the same issues in season 3, but I've overcome them by softening suspension and roll bars. It hasn't affected speed, but tyre temps have improved massively. I think the chassis must naturally stiffen up in the later seasons and upgrades?

try opening the diff a little more should help reduce scrubbing in the corners lowering wear and heat in the tiers

Yeah, I left the tire temp simulation but not the carcass temps. Those are clearly broken in late-game career mode cars, and seemingly only for the player.
