In problem 2 could we simply use the fact that pi*exp(-|w|) form an FT pair with 1/(1+t^2) and divide both sides by pi ??(since we did divide by a cost =2 in problem 1) Still this is the best signals and systems lectures on KZbin, accurate needed information and how to apply them. Thank u so much for the effort you put in :)

Sir in exams we cant simply write the F.T because the checker wont know how it was calculated. Is their any procedure or these are previously well known?

Subas Muhammad I dint get ur question . U will be given with FT terms . U r finding the inverse FT . You will get the time domain signal back

In problem 1, why you dont derivate u(t) ?

Aykut it's a direct property of FT . U(t) is taken care while getting the FT as it's range is from 0 to infinity
