Problems on the test drive after the rebuild on the detroit diesel 6-71

50 mile test drive and the engine performance was perfect after the rebuild. At highway speeds there is a terrible shake and shimmy in the front end. We went to get the front wheel balanced checked and found out we had two bent front rims. Tires were good so we had them mounted on lennys old steel rims. They need painted but Oz knows a guy ;)
Drive shaft slip yoke has a lot of slop. Power steering leak issues from cap blowing off and an alternator that needs a new belt. Spare fuel filter and he can be back on his way home to Birmingham AL
The guys at southern tire mart swapped the rims and balanced them too
