I’m glad you resolved your visa man. I also did my overstay visa last December 2021 with JRC and it cost me 65k including penalty’s and no headache as well I end up going to Thailand (2weeks) to restart my new 3 year stay and actually I loved that trip it was my first time going there so if you never been to Thailand just go and enjoy. I've always done my paperwork in person... my first time was scary and I never trusted a processor again. So I do it myself regardless of my own incoviences. A few years now and I'm good. I wish you the best and hopefully things can just work out without anymore problems...

Mario...my overstay was November 5th...i talked to JRC...but i decided i will go to Malaysia in December or January...I'm not vaccinated so now things changed...my penalty i belive will be 28,875...but only 200usd to go to Malaysia round trip ...my 24hour visa run...my immigration told me to just pay at airport like you said then start my 36 month again...my wife and i have been separated one and a half years now...but she said she will help me with the 13a when I get back...i think you need 13a when you get married...then only once a year check in....be good my friend...love your videos.

Be prepared for issues on your return to the Philippines. Once you overstay in any country there are flags that pop up when you arrive back.

Yup… had a buddy that was rejected and had to fly back to Bangkok. Then had to wait for a visa to be issued from the consulate. He’s flown out a few more times without issue then post covid… refused entry again.

He then forgot to try renewing his visa and they gave him lots of trouble for his overstay. Luckily he took a photo of the closed office which changed his situation to the better.

In Philippines if you have money , anything can happen. In case if you want citizenship and passport, spend 5000 usd and you will get it in 3 months. I got my Foreigner I-card in 2 days coz I spent money like water...

Hi Mario. You have my sympathy on the visa issue. Having lived in the Philippines for 3 years was many times fraught with frustration over visa matters. Their bureaucracy is ambiguous. When Filipinos come over to my country in the EU they are treated fair and with respect. Not so when foreigners live in the Phils. They have much to improve.

Disagree. Know the rules and follow them. Same in most countries. Make sure you have all the documents required and wear clothes suitable for visiting a government department - not as if you just wandered in off the beach or bar!. Accept the fact that the Immigration Staff know more about the processes than you do and follow their advices.

Sorry, but I do not agree with many of these comments. I lived in Thailand 17 years and Laos three years and always did my visa on time even through the Pandemic. Same as here in the Philippines, I applied and got my SRRV visa through JRC in Cebu, and I again I did what needed to be done to conform with Philippine Immagration. What happens in many of these countries mentioned is the Foreigner comes to these countries and try to stay long time on a short time visa, and do not want to leave and do not have the means to stay long time, whether it is age, Financial, or just stupidity. Actually, you are and were very lucky that they did not arrest or deport you or blacklist you.

Even married, they didn't make it easy! I have a girlfriend in Bohol and she is having a lot of trouble getting papers to come to Portugal. Sorry - a bit wrong - I was there in the same time - register via Tourist Office that you’re in lockdown - then you’re exempted from renewal of visa - then when it was possible I send my passport to JRC visa agency in Dumaguete and they extended the visa easily. I think you’re failure was that you didn’t manage everything well in these times - and you had „very good wrong“ friends as it seems 🙈 But anyway - good that it’s solved - go out - come back - restart new

Mario, there are too many scammers. Especially agencies, they charged you too much. For example for trv 1 year viza price 11k peso, for 2 years - less than 15k. Fine is not big...few k peso. But not than 100k peso. After like that scammers i always do viza by myself, all together take 2 month. Price until 15k. Don't be lazy, do all by yourself. Here if you are foreigner they think you are money bag. So easy to take requirements and apply in one day...
