I believe JM has some issues. Watching him before Covid was cool, since Covid it’s been rough. I believe the defendant. If a business says hey allow me to rectify the situation, bring it by on this day and the customer doesn’t, then it’s the customers burden to prove as to why they didn’t give the business the opportunity to rectify. Any after market piece especially for a foreign car that is NOT from the manufacturer of the vehicle chances that it will fit is 50/50. If she cared so much she should of ordered the correct bumper from Lexus instead of blaming the defendant. Just my opinion

I agree he's way too emotional. I think he is a little bipolar with his decisions. At times I feel like he is not willing to hear anyone. In my opinion I think he should have bought in an expert to evaluate the job and the condition of the car and the work done. Then he could have made a more educated decision regarding the work. He acts like he know details on everything but he doesn't. I'm a know it all and even I wouldn't try to make the decision on work I've never handled. I feel for the defendant. He never stood a chance at winning. I wish he could’ve articulated his POV without being interrupted and degraded. I’m so aggravated right now- How can JM champion for our people’s rights and be a self-proclaimed “example” and advocate, when he is the first to try to embarrass and belittle us? He created a narrative in his mind, PRIOR to the defendant speaking. No justice was served here- only prejudice and shame.
@323azteca2 жыл бұрын
Our people's rights? What are you talking about? He judged in favor of the plaintiff who was black. So can you explain how he belittled our people? He judged based in evidence. The guy needed to come better prepared. Common sense.
@riquitataylor8662 жыл бұрын
@@323azteca Hi. I never said JM ruled against the defendant because he was black. I said JM went out of his way to embarrass and belittle him, even though he often boasts in how he fights for the minority and underdog. The two instances are NOT interchangeable. I understand your POV though. Best wishes.

Im reading the comments and people are saying the judge didn’t let the man speak and that they dont think the guy was being deceitful. Women get taken advantage of all the time. Like the judge said, he didn’t realize all the screw ups, dripping paint, bad smell, bumper not completely secure before he took the final payment but he claims to be a perfectionist? He never would have pulled that with a male customer. He figured (his justifiable logic) if she was going to pay him, he would take the money because after all, he did spend time on the vehicle but his time is not worth more than her satisfaction, she is the customer and customers is what keep him in business. He was probably trying to get with her in hopes that if she accepted, he would be able to get away with not properly and professionally repairing her car. Women have to be on the watch out for men taking their disadvantages out on them.

I got my car fixed at the shop and they had to repaint obviously. when I picked up the car there were paint runs and I was so unhappy with it( on top of that I was pregnant at the time so I was extremely emotional ) I didn't even complain until after I got home because it was a little intimidating being there by myself.
