In 2020 I made my biggest move into vintage magic of my whole life. I listened to you. My few slabs are 2x or 3x what I paid for. The people I bought the cards from told me later that they only sold for 60 cents on the dollar because of the scenario and general fear. They needed cash and happily gave me their cards for amazing prices. I now have a complete revised dual land playset among other things like one graded summer magic vesuvan doppelganger, and several ABU duals.

All of the hurdles to sell cards now with eBay costs, fees, authentication process and taxes, makes magic less of worthwhile investment for me. Lot of time, effort and costs. Stocks and crypto so easy to liquidate clean

Great lesson, Rudy! I've looked back on precious relationships, friendships, moments in my life and really come to understand them better. I see why certain things happened. I see mistakes I made that I didn't notice at the time or realized their impact. I agree, Rudy. Sports cards are coming out with Digital Cards that you dont physically possess, yet own on a server somewhere. The thrill of opening physical packs from the LCS is what the fun is all about. When you open packs with your brother and get to see him enjoy it like being a kid again, invaluable times. With these digital packs, you scroll through to see what cards are "next." The world could use a break from the screens and social media.

Loved this video...hit the sweet spot in times like this. Luckily I am one of the "crazy few" who see opportunities and are executing on them.
