If you have flex shafts i would not recommend driving backwards because overtime the flexshaft unravels its self, and dont drive to much half trottle puts load on the esc and not loads of cooling so it will blow

Always set your reverse to 20% and run HD flex drives if you want to keep your expensive props👍Great point about the flexshafts, and most don’t know they are directionally made. Also have upgraded cooling and recommend on any boat using one pickup to feed esc and motor.Always feed a separate cooling pickup for each.

I’m running 2(5000mah 3s) in series on each for longer runtime and the weight is needed with the setup.Smart battery’s are lighter and this boat is over powered anyway on 6s with the props👍I have any plug for this to run different setups and props. I could write a book on voltage and amperage,as it pertains to energy . Really it is 12 , he has four 3 s batteries. 2 batteries are run in series which totals 6 s to one esc. He has it set up the same on the other esc. . Technically it’s 6s to each times to equals 12s. If you don’t unplug the harnes that comes in the boat from the esc. Then he would be running 12 s through the boat, because the esc’ s are wired in series also. So that would burn them up. Just take the harness out and then you run the two 3 s batteries in series to each esc and you will be set up right. I hope I didn’t confuse the gentleman. I meant for this message to go to Mr Caden
