But, great as Ryan is or may be, he may not own enough emotional stability to remain consistent. At LW or about 140 Lbs Ryan is definitely superior. My main critique: Beat Tank then beat Haney without drugs. Then he’d be currently # 1… Then? Can he remain consistent as such. In any case he’s certainly newsworthy.

It’s due to having not the greatest defense. He occasionally gets hit by punches he wasn’t expecting. That’s what happened with Linares. And it happened with Garcia’s left hook, the one punch you never want to get hit by without bracing for it.

You could argue Haney fought Kambosos Jr in his own backyard when Kambosos was considered a wildcard. We all knew that Haney would be the bigger, better boxer and probably win…so is that a case of a calculated risk with a high probability of success, or did he take a 50-50 risk given all the factors in that situation. Haney also has always made sure he weighed more than his opponents-until Garcia.

I went on MGM bets and put money on Ryan Garcia to beat Devin Haney. Ryan is stronger, faster, he has gotten knocked on his butt and got up to win a fight. He also fought tank Davis. Now We normally call that being battle tested. Victor whatever his last name is , the face of vada has done interviews saying how he can get a fighter to pop dirty. Devin Haney is in business with the face of pro baseball cheating. So I'm not shocked that Ryan popped dirty for an amount of a band substance that wasn't even enough to change his performance in the ring
