Hey sorry for late reply. I hope this link helps you as they are changing their finances and booking system cannot really say for you. During my time which was 2020 I got an email as soon as I accepted my offer regarding student accommodation. You have to book it then if you miss that, chances are highly likely you’ll be put on a waiting list but you got to call them and let them know you are willing to get accommodation.
