Introduction to Signals in Angular | Angular Concepts made easy | Procademy Classes

Hello & welcome to procademy classes. Angular has introduced a new feature in Angular version 16 called as signals. Single is not a complete feature yet and it is released as a developer preview. In this video, i will give you a high level overview of what is signals and is the purpose of using signals. I will cover following topics in this video:
1. What is a signal & why do we need it?
2. How to create & use a signal.
3. How to update a signal value?
4. The compute() & effect() function

In Angular v17 mutation is not supported by signals. So, mutate() method wont work. Instead, for mutable properties, you will have to use the update() method and the spread operator approach. Anyway, a great video as always.
