Duuude this is exactly what I needed for my abandoned city scene! I used your other concrete tutorial at first, but it was too smooth and roughing it up just made it worse, so thanks man!!

Brother can I please tell me how to upload files in CG TRADER , please guide me regarding how to save texture file separately

Great smooth tutorial. I'm trying to make custom rolling pins that will take a 2D graphic and make a displacement map on a cylinder. Do you know of a tutorial that will show me how to get this done? Thanks. I can make the graphic loop in PhotoShop. Just getting the displacement map on to a cylinder - I don't know how to do that efficiently.

IDK what Did wrong but mines ended up looking like a alien sea urchin😭So I'mma just purchase it cause thing is literally exactly what I need Edit: Actually IDK whats wrong or what I am missing but Its not as 3 dimensional as the one in the video. I thought it was an error on my end but The one I purchase is doing the same thing. Is the a setting I am missing because this isn't the first this has happened?

Quick question. How would i go about adding a grass particle system that also reacts procedurally? like if i only wanted the grass to generate in between the crevises of the larger chunks while still keeping everything procuderal?

Anytime I zoom in or out it has to re-render the shader each time, and it takes a while. My GPU should be able to handle it so I think it is something within blender. Can I fix this?

wtf you came in clutch when I was just thinking about making a concrete pillar, Thank the cube for your work ryan

I'm a purveyor of best of breed youtube channels that are in my area of interests. For B3D, I have yet to find a channel that can match yours in terms of being 'best of breed' for tutorials - kudos. There are many very talented artists, but most of them are mediocre at best when it comes to creating tutorials. It takes a real knack and a sense of pride to pull of your level of consistency and expertise - kudos again.

@@RyanKingArt I'd be super grateful and willing to donate for a complete walkthrough from start to finish of baking on creating a model that uses Blender's materials, Blenders texture paint, and external texture images. I think the answer is the multiple UV maps, but I seem to get hung up every time with some color from texture paint not showing up after baking (and the face orientation is blue).

When I set my Voronoi settings to 3D and "Distance to Edge", the only inputs are for the scale and for the randomness. I don't have anything like detail or roughness.

It's much more of the same for me, do these people have some sort of blender premium or am I missing something? I don't understand
@FBI_Cyber29 күн бұрын
@@IAtuallyLikeBirds I think we have slightly older versions of Blender. I do know there has been at least one update since I installed it.

Ryan, is it normal that we can't add your video to our playlist ? i'd like to keep that in a playlist of my own so i can find it quickly when needed but it seems this option is disabled :( thnx anyway for the amazing tutorial !
@RyanKingArt3 ай бұрын
You have to click on the little three dots button, under the video, and then click on the "Save" button. For some reason youtube sometimes hides the save button in that smaller 3 dots option.

Hey ryan u make amazing stuff! Got a specific question,when we make procedural material ,say i use a noise texture can i add metallic effect to say only the white part and the other black doesn't get it Is it possible to do this?
@RyanKingArt3 ай бұрын
yes, you will need to plug a texture into the metallic value, to control where its metallic, and where its not.
