I wanted to learn about shading(materials) in Blender to become familiarized with nodes and i just finished half the playlist of your procedural materials. Truly the one best educational series i've followed and I learned alot throughout the journey. Thank you Ryan!!

I really struggle with the logic of linking all the nodes together, so Ryan's clips really help. I especially appreciate how he creates these already prepared tabs for people like myself. Makes my life so much easier.

Ended up using the grippy rubber texture for my car. Great tutorial. I ended up skipping the last one.

Awesome tutorial. I am having an issue with the dotted texture however where instead of dots, my model is covered in lines. Any clue what the fix is?

Hey I wanted to ask about some tips. I just saw your procedural asteroid video and 8 really need to make an asteroid or a look but the craters she min holes need to be real in their Greensboro. Not in the textures. Any tips on how to make them with geometry nodes?

Ryan, may I please ask you something (unrelated to this video, apologies)....I've got a question regarding bevelling in Blender. I've been scouring the internet for an answer and I dont know how to phrase it in google correctly, so I cant find an answer. Grrrrrrr! so frustrating 😅 I will try to explain in words, I hope I can succeed in conveying this dilemma. I used to use Maya for about 20 + years and in there, their bevel tool has an option of selecting an edge, to either bevel the edge where the lines will display parallel to one another, OR...where the lines follow the curve, relative to the curved shape. Can Blender do this as well? Example: if I'm wanting to bevel an edge, which follows a curve, the lines are always parallel to one another rather than bending towards the centre to follow the same shape. I always have to manuall correct this and it takes so much time and patience to be frank. Is there a check box I have to tick? or am I missing something. I'm not sure if you know what I mean, but I hope you do. I'm sure I'm not the only one with this little problem in Blender. Thank you, loving your channel.
