How calculate cp and cpk value.if one side specification given ?plz sir reply

You cannot calculate Cp with only spec; you can Cpk though. If you just have a upper spec, then Cpk = Cpu = (USL-Xdbar)/3s. Similar for LSL. How do you add sub groups?

In the software, subgroups are simply the number of columns containing the results. So, if you have three columns, the software uses a subgroup size of 3. The calculations then used the average range based on a subgroup size of 3 to estimate the value of sigma.
