Is there some good books you’d recommend to get deep into RE?

Not really a big fan of reading for learning, hence the KZbin channel 😉 If you join our discord some of the members maintain a pinned list of books etc. that might be helpful

I bought a book called "reversing: secrets of reverse engineering" and it's pretty good so far. I'm also just getting into RE so if you already have a strong idea of what's going on the book might be a little basic.

Amazing video! Thank u! I'd like to make a video suggestion, idk if it's a good idea, but i'm pratically a beginner to this, when the software is using syscalls i can't find the call easily, i also watched the video talking about syscalls. As i said, idk if it's a good video idea but could you make a video showing how to attach the dbg in the kernel (windbg i think) and tracking? I didn't find much content about scripting in windbg for conditional breakpoints. Thanks again!

We had planned on making a windbag part 2 tutorial for years... still plan on it eventually 😅

Ah KZbin fails again! If you watch on mobile I don't think you get the popup links? Here is the link (which should have popped up for you) kzbin.info/www/bejne/qabai3VpeqaSq5Y

Do you actually use that bright white original visual studio theme? Do you wear sunglasses or do you use a cane to feel around at night after you roast your retinas from all that white light?

What is the difference between this Patreon unlocked playlist and the actual tutorials I get if I subscribe on Patreon?
@OALABS
@OALABS 2 жыл бұрын
The nice thing about Patreon is you can actually see all the content (titles, descriptions etc.) before you subscribe. No surprises, you can see exactly what you get. Go check it out, and make sure you scroll down... scroll forever there are 97 posts and counting lol! www.patreon.com/oalabs

This is great. Thank you I always set a breakpoint after the call to VirtualAlloc and watch the EAX new value as it always holds the pointer to the newly allocated data

With all kind of respect, guys. But, correct me if I am wrong, please. A reverse engineer can have a salary $10K per month, right? Why somebody bother with those Patreon to get additional profit?

@@atzek maybe you are right, thanks. As for me personally, it has no much sense to make videos if you have no time for it or must get a profit to cover that lost time. But, who knows.

Yeah let's go on a video someone has freely made available on KZbin that is a hugely beneficial and educational into how to do reverse engineering and complain about it, dude stfu. No one has a gun to your head to watch this(actually going by your name they probably do 😂) and you're not forced to support him on patreon, so move along, go play in the snow if you don't like it.
