I’m great full for missionaries for helping me grow closer to our Heavenly Father.

Your part of a cult and I pray one that you wake up and realise that the Book of Mormon contradicts the word of our Heavenly Father.

I dont want to convert but I do want to learn about Mormonism. Their dedication is very encouraging.

Dora everyone is invited to learn more about what we believe, and there is no obligation. I suggest the mormon.org web site where you can learn about the beliefs, and even chat online with a missionary. I know Jesus Christ lives and loves everyone.

I’ve always wondered how the church chooses where missionaries go. Is it random? Forgive me if that’s common knowledge. I’m not a member of your church, but whenever I’ve met missionaries from various places, I’ve always wondered how they got here.

Not only did I refuse to serve an LDS mission, I chose to use my money and time by not doing so. I was able to finish college early, and use the $20,000 it would have costed to serve a mission by starting a business that employs others. NONE of the first presidency (Thomas S. Monson, Henry B Eyring, or Dieter Uchtdorf, all THREE military veterans) EVER served a mission. Neither did eight of the twelve quarom of the twelve apostles, choosing military service over missionary service. I have the same rights and priviledges as a return missionary, (temple marriage, recommend, etc) Plus I have the same PRIESTHOOD as a return missionary as well. You DON'T have to serve a mission to be a worthy member of the church at all!

Mike Thompson nobody said non missionaries are bad, and it is $10,000 and members and family and friends help a lot if someone wants to serve but doesn't have the financial ability

I realize this is old but I’ve seen you comment on every missionary video I’ve seen. It’s completely unnecessary to do so, and of course you had the right to choose otherwise. These videos are simply showing people excited to serve, and to introduce your negativity and unnecessary defensiveness is uncalled for. No one is saying you’re less worthy. The fact that you feel so attacked by a video as simple as this says a lot about how you really feel.

@Kaitlyn Lacy, I believe you. Nevertheless, it is amazing to see how many folks are willing to do it.
