24k gold would be way too soft to use in cutlery, even (especially) as a plating.

Покрасили в жёлтый цвет и можно продавать как золото )))))))))) Причём что меня смутило в названии массовое производство, как будто все могут себе позволить золотые ложки в таком объёме как их производят. I spent hours looking for a pure silver spoon. You can find sterling silver spoons but the sterling silver specification can be many. Who really wants to guess what is in something you eat with? I can buy pure silver coins so why not a pure silver spoon? I have thought about making my own from a coin.

because there is no demand for it. pure silver is too soft, and would not hold the shape after short use. if you really want one, you need to find a jeweler or a silver smith, and custom order it.

It's not gold. It's covering melchior by galvanic method. Nikel+cooper=melchior. Have silver or gold color.
