nice video. I need to do something similar using TIA Portal and Process Simulate. Could you tell me if you used any guides for setting up your project in PS and how you connected TIA Portal to PS?

Hello Marvin, The guides that were used to build this simulation consist in the official training material that Siemens provides on the subject. Also, in this video we connected PS to PLCSIM Advanced. Since it is a software that emulates a PLC, we used it to control the simulation. I am using TIA Portal just to monitor and force the Signals. I also used it to quickly make modifications on the PLC code and download it onto the PLCSIM Advanced instance. Lastly, Process Simulate has the ability to connect with a wide range of equipment. You can connect a real PLC from any brand using an OPC Server DA or UA (on other projects we used without any issues PLCs from Mitsubishi or Rockwell), SIMIT and Simba Box/Simulation Unit. NX MCD connected TIA portal,is very simple.if you want virtual plc connect real controller(robot controller ,machine vision),plcsim adv run "Plcsim virtual Eth.Adapter"

You need to be in line simulation in order to connect the virtual PLC right?

I unknow how can use PS,but PLCSIM ADV have OPC.UA ,you can use opc.ua i/o connecting PS.

I have a problem. I can send the signal to "plcsim ADV" but I can not receive the signal from "plcsim ADV".I need your help.

hello jiandong fei. i have the same problem in my project did you manage to solve it ???. I can read signals from PS to TIA but i cant write any signals coming from TIA to PS. Thank you
