What I love about your cover is that it is smooth. When I make my faux leather journal cover I also spray with water glycerin mix and it makes the paper soft and flexible. Happy Creative Day!

Suz Some ppl use shoe polish & it acts in place of paint & sheen. I would invest in some Mod Podge & Gesso in the future, though, if you are a crafter. You use it in so many different projects.

Shirley Wilson I'm sorry. Somehow I didn't respond to this. It was just brown ink. It wasn't one of the distress inks.
