Hi. I have been in IR for some time but I am glad to have come across your video. It has added that little something I was missing in my post work. Thank you. William

Robin. where is the video showing how to create a camera profile? please link to it as I am currently using a camera converted to IR and would love to know how to create the camera profile to us ein LR (also using Affinity Phto and the Nik plugins)

I found it...thanks for the tutorial, my camera shoots JPGs so I am going to have to fiddle with the settings to get the proper image in LR. I have set my white balance for the IR by using a patch of green grass as a custom White Balance. If you have any other suggestions, please post

Will do. It's also worth checking out my website tutorials. I think there are a few more articles published there.

Hi Robin. Just discovered your Channel whilst looking for IR processing tips. In this video you mention a separate tutorial on how to set up IR camera profiles in Lightroom. I can't seem to find that. Can you point me in the right direction? Many thanks.

If you need to know how to install the profiles try this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/l2PCoo2NfM-ng7s If you want to know how to create your own profile to overcome the red effect seen in Lightroom when processing IR images, it's the same principle as explained in the following video. Just be sure to use a DNG file converted from a RAW file shot with your IR camera. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHvbn4Nod7-ZqLs Regards Robin

What threshold/density of IR filter are you using? Is it 720nm? Aksing because I can't get such colorful results with my 720nm. Maybe it's too "deep" IR.

It's a 665nm conversion. I used to have the 720 which was good but I have found the results from the 665 suit me better. If I need a stronger effect I can still screw a filter onto the lens such as an 850nm.
