This was this first time I was disappointed in an episode of Severance. I thought it was too out-there, which is saying a lot for me. There was so much unnecessary yelling and screaming in the scene where Irv tries to drown Helly. It felt off-pace for the rest of the show like it had different writers and directors. It required too much suspension of belief. How are the Shadow Twins getting in front of them to show the way? Why didn't Milchick hear Irv screaming for him during the night, but in the morning, he came running? Ugh. I was looking forward to this episode more than any of them
