Fantastic. Now CONQUISTADOR!! Guitar player is Geoff Whitehorn by the way. He said his dream was always to play with Procol Harum. He finally got his chance in 1991 and stayed with them right to the end.

A Salty Dog is my favorite all time. I was in high school when this was released. Also the Salty Dog whole album. Thanks for recognizing this. Most just land on Whiter Shade of Pale. Like thinking you know Joy Division from only Love Will Keep Us Apart. Next, Conquistador!!! The same Danish concert, it's really all in all great live stuff.

Appreciated hearing both of these. I used to have an album where they played with the Edmonton Philharmonic Orchestra. Enjoyed that whole album (vinyl abt 40 years ago.) Really appreciate your joy in music, your enthusiasm. I just subscribed yesterday.

A great band, a bit underrated . Procol Harum used a lyricist, Keith Reid, to write many songs, then Gary Brooker and the band would work out the music. Their guitarist Robin Trower went out on his own in the early 70s. He was a great player in his own right. His ‘Bridge of Sighs’ is excellent.

A Salty Dog is a classic, just like A Whiter Shade of Pale. An Old English Dream is relatively new and is not one of my faves, it's OK. But you should react to Conquistador, it's a rocker.
