Gary Brooker was given a gift and in turn gave the gift to us

One of the greatest songs ever written. I loved it as a 12 year old in 1967 when it came out and here now 40 years later Gary Brooker's voice sounds even better. This rendition with added orchestra and choir makes it almost a spiritual event. This is a masterpiece.

Yup, I was 12 when this came out too! I remember listening to this on my new transistor radio. Great music is timeless. Gary is magnificent; his voice is like a fine wine.

Our music teacher Darryl Card played this on a Hammond B3 at our graduation. I didn’t know our church organ could sound so good. Hooked bigger time since then.

50 years ago this same song, made pretty girls smile,.. much like you smiled watching it. You glowed and it was lovely. That Velvet touch of spirit in sound softly penetrating your mind and touching places where emotions go to hide.. This song reaches those places.

Thank you for your reaction, Enny! The same Danish Symphony Orchestra does a marvelous job performing the theme song from "The Good The Bad and The Ugly"! You should check it out sometime when you get the chance, along with "Battle of Evermore" from Heart in 1995 and "Hi-De-Ho" from Blood Sweat and Tears! Best wishes to you for much success on your channel!

Fantastic song. Same artists. Same orchestra. Same concert. Try out "Conquistador". Not quite as a pretty, but it has a little bit more kick in the pants.
