I have problems with the pressure, I just bought today the Apple Pencil 2nd generation and the pressure doesn’t work, what do I do? Is there any option or that means is broken or something? 😨(thank to your videos I could resolve some of my problems so thank you)

Does the pressure not work in any app at all? Test it in Goodnotes (if you happen to have that app). There is a brush pen in the app that is pressure sensitive. If you don't have GoodNotes, try another app that uses pressure sensitivity. If the pressure sensitivity doesn't work in any app, then there is a problem with the Apple Pencil itself. If the pressure works in other apps and not in Procreate, then you will need to adjust the pressure curve in Procreate. You can watch my first video in the brush problems series (go to the first segment on the topic of adjusting the pressure curve). Hopefully an adjustment will help.

@@colorwithkendi hi, thanks for answering, I tried on good notes and on freeform and some other drawing apps, I think it doesn’t work, like the lines get bigger just when I write like fast (Just in good notes and Freeform) on procreate I tried changing the pressure curve like you did on your video and it didn’t work, it’s s weird idk, this is difficult 🥹😅. Is there a way to restart the pencil or smt just in case. Like the tilt works because when I tilt it the line gets bigger and depending on the pencil the opacity gets lower.

Is your Apple Pencil a second generation or the USB-C version? They look very similar but they are different. The reason I ask is because the USB-C version has tilt sensitivity but it doesn’t have pressure sensitivity.

In that case, you can try unpairing it in the iPad settings and then pairing it again. If that doesn’t work, see if you can get it checked at an Apple Store.

Hello. I have a problem with the custom brushes loaded in procreate. When the brush is large, it draws perfectly. When you reduce it to 1-2%, it practically stops drawing. As if the texture does not resize correctly. How can i fix it?

Hello. In Procreate, not all brushes can go down to very small sizes and work as expected. Some brushes just work better at a larger size. It’s just one of the limitations of the brush engine. You can try to reduce the minimum brush size settings in the brush engine, but that doesn’t always work.

I have a problem where my brushes where completely thin no matter how much pressure I use they're just too thin. After "solving that" (it's not completely solved, my pressure curfe is all the way to the top and I've trickered a LOT with my fav brushes) now 1 brush is going crazy getting enormus and then thin af without varying the size of the bursh itself. It's been giving me problems for about a year and I've kinda given up with painting with pressure

My best guess is that there is a hardware issue with your stylus. How does the stylus behave in other programs (other than Procreate)?

I think it may be an issue with your Apple Pencil. Can you get it checked out at the Apple Store?

Hiii so I had this exact same problem and the apple helper told me to restate some configurations, it’s general-reset-reset all settings, it worked instantly, this won’t erase everything just some configurations and your card info, I’d recommend you try that 😊

What I am finding is that I select a brush, it WILL NOT DRAW with my Apple Pencil, but I can draw with MY FINGER... why is this happening? Thanks

Is the Apple Pencil properly connected with the iPad? Did you trying charging it with the iPad …does it connect and show you the battery remaining? Also, have you tried using the pencil in other apps? Does it work there but not in Procreate?

@@peacefullorkatry disconnecting the Apple Pencil from Bluetooth. Go to settings, Bluetooth, find Apple Pencil, select the (i) and forget this device and then reconnect it back to your iPad see if that works?
