Had mine for 5 years. Push the bass on with force( if you have to force it--- DON'T. Remove it and try again.) and now the plastic container has a small leak. Makes a mess if I am using olive oil. I'M GOING TO BUY ANOTHER 😉

Where did you buy it from? Also, just double check that the base is fully connected when you twist the container to turn on the blade. I have found that sometimes that could be an issue.
