I Like how you show that you don’t need extensive knowledge of music theory just to make good music. Just a solid understanding of the tools you have.

Yeah man there are ways to work around it if you need to of course it helps to know though

Music theory helps a lot with some aspects of music production tho
@aeonmunk61562 жыл бұрын
@@alexcantgar Yeah you need a solid foundation in music theory of course. But you don’t have to be a music theory bookworm just to make good music. The basics go a long way.
@alskarmode2 жыл бұрын
Definitely disagree. There's a big difference between people who don't understand music, and those that do. Music theory is the backbone of all music - it's how music works
@aeonmunk61562 жыл бұрын
@@alskarmode Yes but it’s not the end all be all. People act like you need a PHD in Music Theory before you make anything that sounds remotely good. There are a lot of unconventional ways to make music or structuring songs, that don’t require an expert level of music theory.

Come on man, you basically copied running out of time for beat #1 and New Magic Wand for Beat #2, even going as far as copying the exact bassline and remaking the drum sample of new magic wand, and copying the chord progression of running out of time. And somehow even while taking all of these elements from the actual songs you're copying you're missing the mark on the key sounds of IGOR, because the key to the sound of this album is the precision in the sound selection. You swap out 1 grimey distorted bass for another, and that element is ruined. The sound of that album and Tyler is extremely hard to replicate, and some manage to do it better than others, but a bad attempt at originality is better than a good replication that lacks soul (even if I wouldn't call the standalone beats 'Good') Or you could go another direction and just remake the songs to show the elements making up the song. Obviously, the originality is reduced to 0, but it is probably the best way to demonstrate the music theory and sound design behind the compositions. Also, every song on IGOR is so different from the others that you can't cover the sound of the album by replicating songs that exist, but rather you should expand the sound of the album by making something new that sounds like it could belong to the album, instead of taking the basic elements of the sound and changing them just slightly, ruining the delicacy and balance of the music. I don't see the point of making a tutorial when you're very obviously not capable of doing what you're supposed to be teaching yourself.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9 NIV ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame” Matthew 11:28-30 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.”” Luke 19:10 God wants us to believe in His One and Only Son, Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, who died for our sins :D When we truly believe in our hearts that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins so we could have eternal life with God, we are saved from the eternal fire and have eternal life in Christ Jesus!! 💖 May God bless you all! 💞🕊
