Ernie is a character from Sesame Street known for his mischievous sense of humor and carefree attitude. He loves to sing, joke, and engage in fun activities, often dragging his more serious best friend Bert into his adventures. He is one of the first people to encounter the Darkness along with Bert in Morning Shadow. Then became one of the side survivors who helps Big Bird against Elmo, mainly against Cookie Monster in Tantrum. He is set to appear in Paperclip where he fights Bert's nephew, Brad and in Carnage where he fights corrupted Big Bird.
In Morning Shadow, he is wearing red pajamas and bunny slippers. In Tantrum, he has a bandaged-up hand and a rip on the side of his chest, where a bandage can be seen on the rip with stuffing leaking out. He is holding a crowbar in his hand and a backpack with a red pajamas and his rubber duck.
