My understanding was 50 decided to really commit to getting into the rap around '97 after meeting Jam Master Jay, and he never looked back. Unfortunately for bags he never really shook that street/thug mentality at all. 50 did some what, he saw the big picture, 50 always playing chess, not checkers. 50's formula in the beginning rap was to create shock value, go at everybody and anybody especially the people who wronged him at that time ja rule, irv gotti and them..As far 50 was concerned he never had a problem handling shit in the streets. Thing is he preferred not to, he could've done all that in his days before rap, he got into the rap game for the money and impact and clearly to avoid going back to jail. 50 and preme were friends at a certain point, and he never expected preme to have someone to try to blow his top off over some bs rap beef. Now the situation with E-Money Bags was more personal. What happened their was because of money, and it ended up way worse and got blown out of proportion. 50's predicament wasn't like E's, and E was on a different type of time and mentality. Don't forget, before the black just situation bags already had one body, and thats as far as most people know, he could've had more no one knows.
