I caution you, Jakob, that you might find an unexpected higher priority will soon envelop you, in fact the true purpose of life-your child. Beautifully said. When he said that he can do some things "on the side" - like having a relationship and starting a family - I feel like he is missing out on the way these things can make him an even better runner if he was willing to also put these in the center of his life. He is only 23 years old. This perspective may come. That said - I can hardly wait until Paris!

@@robford3211 He of course isn’t, but we can’t deny that he is on the right path. He is only 23. I think he will run 1500-5000m up until 2028, trying to get 1500-Mille WR and a 1500m world title, then will progressively shift towards 5000-10000, and finally marathon. I genuinely can see him be Olympic / World champion on everything from 1500 to marathon. Sky is the limit for this guy.

And he ran the 5000m plus all the rounds at both races and still won??? Not taking away anything from Kerr but he is just on top for a brief window. Jakob has been on top for a while and will be in the top for years to come.
