When it comes to producing and mixing vocals for your indie pop song, the game really comes down to this question:
How can I solve the problem of impact?
What I mean by that is:
What are some proven effects and techniques that can put my indie pop song in position to have a strong emotional impact on the listener? (one of those listeners, of course, being you, the creator).

Great video. For harmonies, I use little alter boy and automate the pitch on a double/copy of the lead vocal to see what interval works and where I want harmonies to go. Definitely easier than trying to sing them.
