some fun facts about this album that you might not have known: 1. she finished the bulk of this album in only two weeks towards the end of 2018 2. “ghostin” was the first song she wrote for this album 3. the person talking at the beginning “bloodline” is her nonna (grandma) talking about a hearing aid 4. the person talking at the beginning of “in my head” is one of her best friends, doug, that left her that voicemail. the song was already completed when she decided to add the voicemail as it coincidentally fit the song perfectly 5. there was originally supposed to be a song called “remember”, but it was removed at the last second as it was too emotional/personal to ari. it is highly suggested and assumed to be about Mac. it was replaced with “break up with your girlfriend, i’m bored” 6. 7 rings didn’t originally have the line “you like my hair? gee thanks, just bought it” 7. there are several versions of the song “thank u, next” where the line about pete changes as their relationship was on and off at the time she was writing it 8. the intro to “NASA” is voiced by RuPaul’s Drag Race star D.J. “Shangela” Pierce edit: every fact in this list is true and can be confirmed with a simple google/youtube search. i did my research before making this post and i suggest y’all do the same before making your comments lmfaoooooooo

fun fact this album was made in just TWO WEEKS ariana sat down with the friends who happen to be songwriters and producers and just had fun with it, this was because ariana’s life changed drastically, she broke off her engagement with pete davidson after her ex mac miller died because of an overdose, also she had just dropped the album sweetener but she felt like there was so much she wanted to write about and decided to go against the norms of waiting 2 years to drop the next album and instead dropped this only 6 months after she dropped sweetener

sweetener was made as a healing album for herself and others so it doesn’t hit as hard if u haven’t gone through some shit. it’s my personal favourite album tbh but this one is sick too

When Sweetener came out I actually really liked it and that was the first Ariana Grande full album I bought of hers, but Thank U, Next I LOVED!! It’s lyrics are much more personal and the cohesiveness of this album really shines more.

i love this review! ariana is truly a powerful artist and i love each of the artistic styles in her songs. also i’m excited for your dangerous woman review! that’s my favorite album of hers. you should also listen to her “my everything” album which is my second favorite. she has 5 hits from that album which made her become popular but all the songs on that album are amazing. also, you should listen to sabrina carpenter’s music! she is such an underrated artist that doesn’t get much recognition, and she honestly has the potential to be really big one day. her and ariana are my favorite artists! but you should totally check out sabrina’s albums called “singular act 1” and “singular act 2.” i’m absolutely in love with all the songs on those two albums. i would say that “sue me”, “paris”, “hold tight”, “tell em”, and “looking at me” are the best songs from those two albums.
