Gfriend has a good vocals unlike the other groups who can't sing live well, I respect all other artists but Gfriend every performances their live vocals, and how they sing during encore is the best.

I think you should hear the version of Apple (the one you reacted last time) I remember you didn't like that their vocals were too low in the song. But in the new version they put the vocals higher. It get soooooooo good, even for me that already love the original version. I also recommend you guys to see Crossroads. Crossroads, Apple and Mago were part of a trilogy whose showed they change of concept and their process of maturing. They videography got a whole lot history about surffering about their mistakes and hold back their desires. In Crossroads show them trying to find back their happiness and save them friendship, the last one (Apple) they finally allow themselves to live their desires and in this one they're finally accepting who they are and being happy. I'm happy you guys enjoyed the song

GFriend sounds normally have sprinkles of "oldies" sound inherently. So this release actually is not too far from their original sound, as they never really go to kpop trend with full EDM or special rap verse. Abt "not too special", its bcs this release more like "special release" as they never done a release in Autumn before ... and they are on the track of "image changing"/musical style changing. They already made many - like MANY music explorations before (for example, Apple) but their numbers was somewhat still underrated. So this time they decided to go to more easy to digested music.
