Austin did a fabulous job of this classic song. Loved Percy Sledge's version, but this was taken to another level. I think it is also better than Michael Bolton's version. And remember this was done during quarantine, so the guys weren't even together. The backing harmonies are great, along with Tim's bass. And Adam's vocal percussion is outstanding. This is why these guys are my favorite a cappella group.

Austin absolutely owns this song now. His beautiful voice was made for this song, and what a fantastic job he did with the guys in the background with those exquisite harmonies woven throughout and Tim's oh so pretty bass. Adam's beat boxing was next level, spot on. They've done it again.

It was fairly easy for Austin to sing this with 1000% conviction & passion... His wife was in the studio, sitting right beside the camera during the recording - so in effect, he was actually singing it to her.

I respect Percy Sledge's version as the original; nice soul presentation but lacks any warmth (IMHO). Michael Bolton brings much more soul into his version--it really gives you the idea he is feeling it personally; it is the version I've had on my playlist for decades. But--Home Free's version? Austin's high notes are every bit as amazing as the others. And ALL completely acapella?!? With their harmonies and Adam's vocal percussion too?!? No solo act is ever going to best their version as far as I'm concerned. Theirs is now what plays on my regular playlist❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️ Home Free has been such a great gift to all of us--especially their extra efforts in providing us with excellent music/videos throughout quarantine and the difficult days of isolation we all dealt with during the pandemic. Their creativity in producing the "quarantine" videos--and their commitment to continuing to provide new entertainment throughout (even though they weren't even in the same state!)--has brought along many HF converts. Got to ❤️❤️❤️ Home Free!!
