Randominator I by no means dispute that he always wanted it. We all have goals and all have aspirations and there’s absolutely no fault in that. I think we agree on that. What I think our dispute is the fact that presence of this lavish life is the thing keeping him from being “miserable”. Think I speak for most people when I say we all would take more money over less, but a simple look at millionaire suicide rates shows that luxury doesn’t mean genuine happiness.

Michael is encouraging delusional goals when he says we can all achieve his level of wealth. My dad was born an orphan and saved money for years to pay for higher education. After thousands of hours of hard work over the course of 8 years he received a doctorate. He has put in more work than any human I have ever met in person and earns around 300k a year. 300k a year allows you to live a comfortable life but it is nowhere near enough to own any of the things Micheal owns. Wanting to live like him is not going to happen no matter what. Make reasonable goals for yourself. You can own nice cars like a corvette through hard work but dreaming about lambo's will only end in disappointment.

If you buy expensive consumer products, you're throwing your money away for a name on a product. Look at Beats by Dre. Costs like $14 to make, costs you $200 to buy. Not necessarily better than things 1/4 of the price, they wear out and they don't hold value. You've just thrown away $150 for a status symbol to look cool.

Eric i think you need to reevaluate your opinion. There are plenty of women that are beautiful in age. Your statement implies women are only good for giving birth and looking pretty. Women have worth beyond those things. Also, most men look like shit too once they get past 25. You say men look good and stay in the sexual market place into their late 50s depending on health. Not a lot of men can pull that off between extremely low quality of sperm and sexual dysfunctions like erectile dysfunction. Also women who look after themselves and have good health can also look good into their 50s. Society has a twisted look on women where one sign of aging devalues them yet wrinkly older men who are not very handsome get called handsome and people begin to believe it. Don’t forget: wealth is one of the main factors behind aging well so if you’re rich, you are likely to look well in age.

Thanks for that lesson on women guys. I am 50 and you’re partly right about the sexual distinction thing. Everything important works fine but the stamina goes. This makes being married to the same woman for years a real advantage. Give me 3 minutes with her and she’s happy. Good thing because after 5 minutes I must rest...lol. 0:55 if you're going to highlight it then at least tell everybody what it is...it's a Patek Philippe 5980/1R (Rose Gold, with Chronograph and Date functions). It currently retails for $88,230 but, as Michael said, it goes for much more in the grey market. I know all too well because I just met with my dealer on that watch and a few others. He's on the case for me! I actually prefer the 5990 because it adds one very useful function on top of this one, a Travel Time function. The 5990 currently retails for $55,340 (cheaper than the 5990, even though it has an extra complication, because it is stainless steel).

I used to have a PAM171 brand new like the camera man and I lost £3k on it in 2 years, retail prices of Panerai versus grey market is crazy. I’ve learnt that anyone who buys a brand new Panerai from a dealer, needs their head testing do not do it no matter how tempted. I just got a Dark Knight PAM 317 £17.5K new, picked it up for £9.5k immaculate with box and papers on the grey market.
