As difficult as it is try to stay positive, I have been hearing some real miracle recovery’s from cancer recently from stage 4 stomach cancer to stage 4 bowel cancer, one is now cancer free, the other almost there just needs a tiny liver tumour to be blasted then he will be cancer free too. Peter is a professional jeweler who, despite his experience, is not afraid to say ''I don't know'' or ''I have no idea'' when asked a question under the spotlight. I know that some will take the opportunity to taunt him, but I just have more respect for him and his humility. The same thing said by someone else probably wouldn't pass. But coming from him, for some reason or another, I prefer his candor rather than a bag of BS just to look good.

The Batgirl is actually a Frankenstein (meaning some parts are not original). There's no Rolex crown between the Swiss made at the 6 o'clock on the dial. The Jubilee bracelets are only produced on the GMT "Batman" since 2019, where the dial shows a crown between Swiss Made at the 6 o'clock.

Good catch! It makes you question some of the other watches. Also the Day-Date is polished to pieces, it lost a lot of its original shape. I guess that’s why these were all a bit discounted for the viewers, but still important to point out.

That two tone Rolex Bluesy has the best blue sunburst dial in the business! This video isn’t even in the same ballpark as doing it justice. It’s unbelievable how that dial comes to life in the sun. It’s definitely a sunny t-shirt weather watch, rather than a daily driver because it does need light. But boy can it come to life!

I’m totally with Michael on the Richard Mille watches! It’s THE most overhyped, overpriced brand in the watch world hands down! They sell maybe 2000 dollar watches for 150K plus! It’s ridiculous. Oh and don’t forget to send your RM in every 18 months for service because otherwise they won’t be water resistant anymore and when you bring in the watch under warranty because surprise surprise you went swimming with it and water got in, but the watch is supposed to be water resistant to 200 meters so swimming shouldn’t be an issue, they will ask you whether you had it serviced because it says so in the booklet, but no one fucking told you that when you bought the watch for 180K, and the watch wasn’t serviced then they’ll repair it for you and they charge you an outrageous amount of money for it. That’s a true story. You can find it online. It would’ve cost RM next to nothing to put a new mom event and gaskets in that watch and they would’ve had a customer for life. At the very least they could’ve repaired it for him at cost, but they wanted to charge him fully. Needless to say, this was the last RM he ever bought and they will get free negative publicity from him for the rest of his life and all just over some petty loose change from RMs point of view.

Love the videos, as always. Thank you Michael for correcting the pronunciation of Jaeger! Too many say it with a soft "J", but this is a French brand. The below is a buyer beware... For those who may not know, and in case anyone is considering buying - Regarding the "Batgirl" and "Batman", the 126710BLNR is the new reference that comes on both Oyster and Jubilee. You can easily spot a new reference GMT because it will have a crown at the 6 between "Swiss Made". I know the video included the reference 116710BLNR for the second one, which is helpful, but I believe 126710BLNR was used for the one with Jubilee, and I don't think that's accurate. I didn't spot a crown between Swiss Made on the jubilee version, so I believe the jubilee was added after. The watch will have the older movement and slightly thicker lugs than the newer version. Still a great reference, but just throwing it out there for accuracy. The older version, and perhaps not being on stock oyster, impacts value. You can find 116710BLNR for around $15,000 - $16,000 quite easily depending on condition and year! The deals being offered here are not that incredible, and I wish Michael would not exaggerate how fantastic they are. Check the Rolex Forum trusted sellers. Some 2020 versions going for under $15k and I have found similar deals with other dealers with a store front as well.
