I used to just listen to a song and then label it as "I like" or "Not into it". Then came SB19. Through them, I learned that there is more to a song than the lyrics and melody. Long story short, I became appreciative of the process and production, not only the product. Even if I am admittedly non-musical, I salute the work and talent that goes into a well-thought and well-written song.

I totally agree!! I never really find these process amusing but whenever its about SB19 my enthuasiams on everything they do just flows. I always see your comments!! @SUNFLOWER

And now I realized how difficult it is to finally come up with a song!!! Thank you so much Mr Simon Servida for helping Pablo. There's so much intricacies to making a song!!! Lot's of hard work!!! Right on Pablo, right on Simon!!!

Simon Servida is a Wunderkind! Makes sense that Pablo sought him out. Honestly, What? is the Magnum Opus of the entire Pagsibol EP, and what kicked off a lot of media attention. A lot of foreign fans took notice, and that international fandom became larger.

this is what i am looking for ...the technical side of the music .....there is an itch in me to dig deeper into the music. thanks for explaning .

Perhaps you can interview Simon Servida and even explore a collab. He produced couple of other SB19 songs in their first album. It was this song that turned me from an SB19 foe to a fan. The uniqueness of What was indeed a breakthrough in Philippine music sound. Pablo's creative genius is pure epic.I don't know any other PPop member who comes close.

Now I'm starting to love your documentary-informative-reaction. And newbies owe you a lot, as a singer and instrumentalist myself, I have composed a lot of music I have already forgotten about because I didn't know how to produce, where to start and watching you explain it felt like I'm a kid watching the fishes and sea creatures in a big aquarium that I had only seen in the books. So thank you for showing us and taking us to your music world. Now I have to also commend how you have explained the technical details the simplest way possible so everyone can understand it esp the non-musicians. The way you explained how difficult it is to work as a producer with someone who doesn't know about producing is the same as working with someone who knows what he's doing, the path is both difficult, but the sense of achievement and learnings and experience and most likely the output are what sets them apart. I saw Servida here as a customer service representative, he probes he gotta dig a lot, and then Pablo as a very smart kid who really knows what he wants but he doesn't know what to press. They really have to work together hand in hand. Servida has 50 to choose from 500, and then Pablo breaks it down to 20. servida then recommends what he feels like using from the 20, then Pablo makes the final choice. So you see if Servida fails to choose the right options the first time, Pablo will not end up with the list that he wants. Now I appreciate the technicalities of music 🥰 So again, thank you

Pablo is the main man of SB19. He got control of the songs and lyrics the thinking man behind the group.Thats why during present hiatus he is mostly silent because he is on a bigger task. Working on their new Pagtatag album.

Sound design has always fascinated me since I worked as a voice actor and seen sound engineers at work. A little different from music but it it gave me an appreciation for sound production. 😊 I can see you and Simon getting along and geeking out. You’re both cool and seem to be on the same wavelength. It's interesting to hear how the money is split up. I have heard SB19 talk about how they personally fund they're own projects. They must be able to keep more of the money 💰 made from songs, MV'S.
@armisky9495 Жыл бұрын
well probably bcos when they are starting they barely earn anything and now they have good people who aide them help them manage and now they can be hands on in things that would develop their skills, cut cost & earn more😁 so its great move that they are producing their mvs more and they are the one financing it as well bcos theyd earn more that way

I do not understand all of what you're trying to say because they're quite technical but I find your "lectures" nonetheless satisfying. It's obvious that you are very knowledgeable on this topic . This is why you have gained a lot more followers in such a short time . People can tell that you are a credible source of information and that your opinions actually bear weight .
