Became a host for noontime shows and more. Recently he was invited back in France to join the Dancing With the Stars and won the grand prize. OMG I can't imagine how Billy Crawford's career would be if it happened in this tiktok generation. Before kpop, there was Billy Crawford, the first asian pop artist who made it in Europe! He was so popular here, girls were literally dying. His music topped the charts in France, Belgium, Germany, Switzerland and the Netherlands, and this was BEFORE social media. So far, his popularity here beats SB19's. His talent and music is made for the European market. His charisma got the girls crying! If social media existed back then, Filipinos would have known about his success here and would have supported him 100%. But not everyone knew about him, unless you had cable TV and watched MTV Europe or Euro channels. Plus he's such a down to earth guy, not an air of arrogance in him, even with all the recognition and fame he experienced. Now that's a class act. He's worked with notable artists like Michael Jackson, and music producers in the US and became famous in Europe. But his career took a turn when he moved back to PH. I don't why his musical career wasn't further honed, or maybe they didn't know what to do with Billy's level of talent?! 🤷‍♀️ So they got him to do hosting jobs coz that's what they usually do to stars who speak well (obv not all).. Idk I could be wrong. I watched a recent interview of him on French TV when he won Dancing with the Stars. His french was a bit rusty, but because he's such a natural charmer, he had the host giggling. She even asked him if it was possible for him to come back to Europe. I couldn't stop grinning while watching the entire interview. He was invited to perform his chart topping songs (Bright Lights and Trackin') on French TV. I've also seen a few vids of 2023 performances posted by diff people from France. All his performances were topnotch, he's gotten even better! Billy's the total package, he can work the crowd, he's had the taste of fame and success to this day, and now he's just chillin'. He's accomplished so much, been there, done that, now a happy family man and remains humble. I mean, I admire many ppop groups and OPM artists making it in the US and Asia, but their music hasn't really penetrated Europe in a level like Billy's, even with the help of social media. I guess people have different journeys to take, but I really pray it'll happen one day, that there will be a Pinoy artist/s who will make it globally, esp here in Europe so I could watch 'em... 💜🙏🏻 Oh, and didn't he date Mandy Moore?! 🤷‍♀️

Billy Crawford the Justin Timberlake thingy guy did actually work with Justin Timberlake and Michael Jackson as a back up dancer way back 2000's I think. After that he pursued his career in France and to name his songs which became popular that time like "Bright light" and others. He also contributed a cover behind the famous original Pokemon TV series way back in the 90's. Recently he is the Champion of the Dancing with the Stars France. 🙂

Those judges are multi-awarded artists in the Philippines. Chito Miranda is a legend in the Philippines being a leader of” Parokya ni Edgar” an OPM group that at one point was the #1 group in the Philippines and his songs are well known. I believe he came after South Border , another OPM band that was so well known.

Chito came from South Border? I am from his generation and have never heard that information ..... chito is from a rock band callled "parokya ni edgar" while south border were most likely categorize as rnb/slow songs so it kinda contradict on his style of music ....

I'm a Stell bias but I like Julie Ann among her contemporaries. She's well-rounded too and has amazing and versatile voice. She is that talent that should have been discovered and succeeded globally. It's really difficult for Filipinos to penetrate the US market no matter how super talented. Only so few made it.
