I love the use of the music. The manual generators are loud but don’t use or produce materials. The coal, petroleum, and natural gas generators are loud and make a mess, and the hydrogen generators and solar panels are quiet and efficient.

Thanks! For petroleum and natural gas you need a proper setup so more of a mid to late game generators.

The only exception is the Wood engine, which produce a a ton of heat & CO2 per kW. In fact, it's the most polluting engine.

It's important to note that storing combustable resources like hydrogen or petroleum also counts as an energy source, as they dont require any power to move out of a tank. Which means a tank-buffer can act as a cold-start failsafe as well.
