Hi, so i wanted a help from u i am a BCA graduate and i really wanted to take my masters in product design and also wanted to pursue it in UK. As of my counselor since i am opting for a change of field i might not get admission for this specific course as the universities have a requirement, Also she says that finding a product design related job will be very hard and risky because if i dont find a course related job within a year my visa will be over and i have to come back. So in a very confusing place right now can someone give me some advice.

I know this response is coming in so late but this should help any other person in same shoes. Tech jobs - Product Designers, UI/UX etc etc are all in high demand especially in the UK. Go for that course. Make sure your Personal statement speaks of your passion and enthusiasm. This should explain why you wish to switch.... As part of some University requirement, if you have some portfolio to present then that would also be brilliant. I would suggest you tailor your CV as well, focusing on your Summary and skillset as it relates to your intended/proposed course.... Also, if you could work out some introduction to PD certificate short courses like those on Reed courses, and add that achievement to your CV prior to submitting your further study application, this would be brilliant. Come to think of it... In the course requirement outlined by the school , there is a section that says "if you do not meet the requirement, you will be assessed on an individual/portfolio basis"...well, something like that. Anyways, All the best to those in same circumstance...
